Welcome to Titango. We are committed to protecting your personal information and your right to privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your information when you use our mobile application and related services.

1. Information We Collect

We collect information you provide directly to us when you register or use our services, including:

• Full name, phone number, and email address
• Profile photo and business details (for providers)
• Location data (city, latitude, longitude)
• Payment transaction references (we do not store full card details)
• Messages and communications within the app
• Device tokens for push notifications

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

• Create and manage your account
• Connect customers with service providers nearby
• Process payments and generate invoices
• Send push notifications and service updates
• Respond to your support requests
• Improve our platform and user experience
• Prevent fraud and ensure platform security

3. Location Information

Titango uses your location to show nearby service providers and to display your business on the map for customers. Location is used only while the app is active. We do not track your location in the background without your consent.

4. Sharing of Information

We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal data to third parties. We may share information with:

• Service providers who assist in operating our platform (e.g., payment processors, notification services)
• Legal authorities if required by law or to protect our rights

Other users only see the profile information you choose to make public (business name, description, location, photos).

5. Account Deletion

You have the right to permanently delete your Titango account and all associated personal data. You can do this in two ways:

• In-app: Go to Profile → Settings → Delete Account inside the Titango app.
• By request: If you are unable to access the app, you can submit a deletion request by contacting us with your registered phone number or email address:

Upon deletion, your profile, products, ads, messages, and payment history will be permanently removed within 30 days. Some data may be retained for legal or fraud-prevention purposes as required by law.

6. Data Retention

We retain your personal data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide services. Upon account deletion, data is removed within 30 days except where retention is required by law.

7. Security

We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your data, including encrypted communications (HTTPS) and secure token-based authentication. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure.

8. Children's Privacy

Titango is not intended for children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can delete it.

9. Third-Party Services

Our app may integrate with third-party services such as payment gateways (Kkiapay) and push notification services (Firebase). These services have their own privacy policies, and we encourage you to review them.

10. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Request correction of inaccurate data
• Request deletion of your account and data
• Withdraw consent for optional data processing

To exercise these rights, use the in-app account settings or contact us directly.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes via the app or email. Continued use of Titango after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
